In response to rising passenger demand, Mehmet Poroy, the ambassador of the Republic of Turkey to Nigeria, has asked Festus Keyamo, the minister of aviation and aerospace development, for assistance in increasing Turkish Airlines' frequency of flights to Nigeria. AEDC Lays Off Workers as Part of Major Restructuring Exercise

As part of its restructuring process, the Abuja Electricity Distribution Company PIc (AEDC) claims to have fired a few employees who did not perform up to par. According to media sources, the DisCo carried out a mass layoff that affected over 800 workers.
